Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emir Haj Bourguiba took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Abdelkarim Khalfaoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moncef Amor. Godmanchester AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelkarim Khalfaoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Moncef Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emir Haj Bourguiba in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Kaâbi in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hedi Amira Azzaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sahbi Gmamdia's late challenge caught a Marden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sahbi Gmamdia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Emir Haj Bourguiba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Albert Kaâbi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Godmanchester AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Kaâbi couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Kaâbi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Godmanchester AFC's zone, Abdelkarim Khalfaoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moncef Amor came out of the goal and Abdelkarim Khalfaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yassine Mrabet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hedi Amira Azzaro having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match, Albert Kaâbi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hedi Amira Azzaro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Moncef Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelkarim Khalfaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Albert Kaâbi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marden's Hedi Amira Azzaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th play minute Sahbi Gmamdia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hedi Amira Azzaro. 1-1. In the 77th minute, Abdelkarim Khalfaoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Emir Haj Bourguiba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Moncef Amor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adel Farhat hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Hedi Amira Azzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Kaâbi in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Marden's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Kaâbi came free, but Hedi Amira Azzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yassine Mrabet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Hedi Amira Azzaro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
