In the 26th minute, Mongi Karray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Abdelkarim Khalfaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marden's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelkarim Khalfaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adel Hammami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamdi Jbara in the 30th minute of play forced Marden's goalkeeper Hedi Amira Azzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelkarim Khalfaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Karim Achour took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hedi Amira Azzaro. Marden's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marden's goalkeeper Hedi Amira Azzaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Abdelkarim Khalfaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adel Hammami made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Abdelkarim Khalfaoui sent off a good shot on target. Ali Jegham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Hammami having to interfere. Hamza Braiek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hedi Amira Azzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Marden's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdi Jbara came free, but Hedi Amira Azzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sami Ghigani during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
