After 5 played minutes, Stratton's Hamed Sellimi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ghazi Belgacem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stratton reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Ziadi in the 7th minute of play forced Teignmouth's goalkeeper Ghazi Belgacem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Stratton booed when Teignmouth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aymen Korbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Adel Mrabet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Teignmouth getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Hatem Ben Essediri hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Habib Bargawi during the 24th minute. In the 35th minute Mehdi Ziadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghazi Belgacem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Adel Mrabet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ghazi Belgacem. Teignmouth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adel Mrabet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Teignmouth's Aymen Korbi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Mehdi Ziadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ghazi Belgacem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adel Mrabet in the 49th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Adel Mrabet made the kick off in the second half. Mehdi Aziza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehdi Ziadi got free with Ghazi Belgacem in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehdi Ziadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmed Badra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Mehdi Aziza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Stratton's Sofiene Soliman.
