In the 6th minute, Tamworth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tarek Naoui fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Bechir Saidi managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Leconfield FC's Radhi Baya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Tamworth:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leconfield FC:s goal. Riadh Boulaabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bechir Saidi made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Radhi Baya sent off a good shot on target. Ghazi Mhedhebi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tarek Naoui struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bechir Saidi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leconfield FC. In the 39th minute of the match Zoubeir Azaïez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bechir Saidi skillfully saved the ball. Riadh Boulaabi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Bechir Saidi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radhi Baya in the 40th minute. Tamworth's Bechir Saidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarek Naoui in the 45th minute of play. Yassine Hadda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Mustapha having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tarek Naoui made a kick off. Tamworth's Bechir Saidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarek Naoui in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th minute Tarek Naoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bechir Saidi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yassine Hadda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Leconfield FC's zone, Michel Ammar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mourad Mustapha came out of the goal and Michel Ammar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yassine Hadda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mourad Mustapha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarek Naoui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bechir Saidi having to make a save. Yassine Hadda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Tarak M'hadhebi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leconfield FC and the Tamworth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Leconfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Tarak M'hadhebi. Yassine Hadda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Mustapha having to interfere. If Tarek Naoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leconfield FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
