The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Ali Boulaabi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aymen Mechergui hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zoubeir Dhouib during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ali Boulaabi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Aymen Mechergui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderrahim Karray having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Ali Boulaabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Boulaabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aymen Mechergui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderrahim Karray having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hedi Amor in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Férid Azzaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ayèche Ben Jemaiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raouf Kallel kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Dunchurch's Férid Azzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Boulaabi in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Ali Boulaabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Férid Azzaro. Dunchurch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Boulaabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ayèche Ben Jemaiel was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Malton AFC's Raouf Kallel got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Dunchurch's goal looked a bit too open when Hedi Amor came free, but Férid Azzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Boulaabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malton AFC's goalkeeper Abderrahim Karray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Malton AFC's zone, Ayèche Ben Jemaiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abderrahim Karray came out of the goal and Ayèche Ben Jemaiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aymen Mechergui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Hedi Robime was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunchurch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malton AFC the free kick. The audience was convinced that Ali Boulaabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Férid Azzaro was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fadhel Bouali during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Dunchurch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadhel Bouali to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Najeh Nefzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
