Anis Ghodhbane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mongi Chimane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Anis Ghodhbane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mongi Chimane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hichem Guelbi struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Marouane Saber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Looe. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Looe's goalkeeper Mongi Chimane , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Anis Ghodhbane put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mongi Chimane . Mongi Chimane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aymen Chikhaoui in the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anis Ghodhbane in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mongi Chimane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Anis Ghodhbane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Hichem Guelbi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catford's Marouane Saber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes, Aymen Chikhaoui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catford and the Looe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Catford's Aymen Chikhaoui got a free kick in the 37th minute. Aymen Chikhaoui might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mongi Chimane . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aymen Chikhaoui ran back to his position shaking his head. When Hichem Guelbi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Looe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hichem Guelbi couldn't finish the play. In the 45th match minute, Catford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Ali Ziadi to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Hichem Guelbi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marouane Saber . The goal made the score 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anis Ghodhbane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaouhar Lahmar in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marouane Saber saved Catford from getting behind. After 59 minutes, Hichem Guelbi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Looe and the Catford players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Looe got a freekick which was hit by Hichem Guelbi. 65 minutes into the match, Catford's goal looked a bit too open when Hichem Guelbi came free, but Marouane Saber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jaouhar Lahmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Ahmad Dhiab had to leave the field with a concussion. David Haj Kacem's late challenge caught a Catford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Haj Kacem helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Looe got a freekick which was hit by David Haj Kacem. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hichem Guelbi in the 77th minute of play forced Catford's goalkeeper Marouane Saber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Looe's goalkeeper Mongi Chimane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aymen Chikhaoui. David Haj Kacem got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Catford booed when Looe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Haj Kacem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Jaouhar Lahmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marouane Saber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Aymen Chikhaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catford's supporters rose to their feet, but Aymen Chikhaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mongi Chimane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Looe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Catford's performance. The match ended with a win for Catford.
