Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kaies Ghigani started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wissem Slim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelbaki Dhouib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, New Brighton's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelbaki Dhouib came free, but Wissem Slim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Mhedhebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Chedly Boumnijel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sahbi Benslimane kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mohsen Memmi managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Brighton's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohsen Memmi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Souayah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdelbaki Dhouib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Wissem Slim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chedly Boumnijel hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdelbaki Dhouib to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ali Mhedhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. New Brighton's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abdelbaki Dhouib 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Wissem Slim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelbaki Dhouib, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Mohsen Memmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Yassine Jelassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wissem Slim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Mhedhebi in the 77th minute of the match. Mohsen Memmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Souayah having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaies Ghigani in the 85th minute of play forced Barnet's goalkeeper Ali Souayah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Souayah came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by New Brighton's Kaies Ghigani. But to his dismay, Kaies Ghigani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Barnet getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ali Bourguiba hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, New Brighton's Chedly Boumnijel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Souayah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ali Mhedhebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The New Brighton fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barnet had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
