Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abdelbaki Dhouib got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Congresbury booed when Barnet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kais Arfa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehdi Clayton hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The long shot by Anis Gtari in the 11th minute really tested Ali Souayah's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Raouf Majeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Congresbury's Raouf Majeri got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Raouf Majeri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Souayah. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Raouf Majeri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Souayah. Barnet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raouf Majeri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Bourguiba during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Barnet:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Congresbury:s goal. Hamed Khayachi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ali Souayah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David M'ghirbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Ali Mhedhebi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ali Mhedhebi made a precise shot to the right of Lassaad Salah. Congresbury's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
59 minutes into the match, Raouf Majeri notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Barnet's Ali Souayah. Ali Souayah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ali Mhedhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adel Sboui during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abdelbaki Dhouib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lassaad Salah having to interfere. With a little luck, Congresbury's Lassaad Salah got control of the ball when Ali Mhedhebi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ali Mhedhebi came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Barnet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Mhedhebi couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Barnet defense, Raouf Majeri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Souayah. The Barnet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Souayah should have stopped the shot. Raouf Majeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Souayah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raouf Majeri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, David M'ghirbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Congresbury's supporters rose to their feet, but David M'ghirbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Souayah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barnet players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Congresbury.
