In the 3rd minute Najeh Moatamri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hédi Karoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jemeleddine Jemmali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Houcine Jouili having to interfere. If Jemeleddine Jemmali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ash's zone, Jemeleddine Jemmali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Houcine Jouili came out of the goal and Jemeleddine Jemmali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Majed Ben Kalaï had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ash's Najeh Moatamri in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alwinton United's goalie prevented a goal. Jemeleddine Jemmali struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Houcine Jouili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alwinton United. When Majed Ben Kalaï came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Alwinton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Majed Ben Kalaï couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Majed Ben Kalaï in the 21st minute of play forced Ash's goalkeeper Houcine Jouili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Hedhili Attouga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ash's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alwinton United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ash's Hedhili Attouga got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Jemeleddine Jemmali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hédi Karoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Najeh Moatamri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alwinton United's Hédi Karoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Alwinton United from getting a goal against them. Bernard Ghodbane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Alwinton United got a freekick which was hit by Zied Ben Younes . Ash's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hichem Mzali in the 42nd minute. After taking down the ball on Ash's corner Chokri Ammar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hédi Karoui quite easily take care of the ball. Tarek Sellimi's late challenge caught a Ash's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarek Sellimi helped the player get up and apologised. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Majed Ben Kalaï made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Ali Zaalani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Houcine Jouili was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ash's zone, Jemeleddine Jemmali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Houcine Jouili came out of the goal and Jemeleddine Jemmali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Hedhili Attouga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 68 minutes, Jemeleddine Jemmali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alwinton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jemeleddine Jemmali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamza Selliti hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alwinton United getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zied Ben Younes hit a great ball. Najeh Moatamri struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Hédi Karoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ash. With a little luck, Ash's Houcine Jouili got control of the ball when Jemeleddine Jemmali tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Majed Ben Kalaï in the 97th minute of play forced Ash's goalkeeper Houcine Jouili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alwinton United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
