If Anis Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match Mohamad Sellimi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maher Ben Ammar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Englefield Green United's zone, Adel Slimane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Ali Bourguiba came out of the goal and Adel Slimane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adel Slimane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Anis Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Ali Bourguiba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adel Slimane in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Ali Bourguiba saved Englefield Green United from getting behind. 31 minutes into the game, Adel Slimane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teign's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Englefield Green United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Teign's Adel Slimane got a free kick in the 31st minute. Adel Slimane might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Ali Bourguiba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adel Slimane ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute Oussama Morjane suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Belgacem Dhafer fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Englefield Green United's protests and gave Belgacem Dhafer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Belgacem Dhafer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Aymen Aziza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Ali Bourguiba skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Englefield Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Anis Amor came free, but Mustafa Ali Bourguiba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dali Gammoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maher Ben Ammar having to interfere. Ahmed Ali Bourguiba kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Englefield Green United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mohamed Salah Ben Sellimi hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Anis Amor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dali Gammoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maher Ben Ammar having to interfere. If Anis Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anis Amor was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Teign's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dali Gammoudi might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maher Ben Ammar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dali Gammoudi ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Teign's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdi Hermassi came free, but Maher Ben Ammar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Teign's Anis Amor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Ali Bourguiba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
