Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rashid Meriah kicked off to start the match. When Hassib Ladgham fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newton on Ouse's protests and gave Hassib Ladgham a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Newton on Ouse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hassib Ladgham to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th match minute, Blackburn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rashid Meriah to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's Noureddine Akid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Belkahia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newton on Ouse's goalkeeper Issam Karray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Newton on Ouse getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Hassib Ladgham hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Habib Bourguiba made a precise shot to the right of Issam Karray. Newton on Ouse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Noureddine Akid got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noureddine Akid got free with Rachid Belkahia in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Noureddine Akid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newton on Ouse's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Akid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Belkahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rachid Belkahia made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Noureddine Akid sent off a good shot on target. Rashid Meriah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Issam Karray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Blackburn got a freekick which was hit by Hamed Sboui. Noureddine Akid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blackburn's Rachid Belkahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Jaziri in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goal looked a bit too open when Rashid Meriah came free, but Issam Karray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radhi Souissi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Habib Bourguiba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Jaziri to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rashid Meriah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Newton on Ouse's Mohamed Jaziri got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blackburn's Rachid Belkahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Jaziri in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's Noureddine Akid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Belkahia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Rashid Meriah got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Newton on Ouse's Hassib Ladgham got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Hassib Ladgham off the ground. Hassib Ladgham hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Rachid Belkahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Jaziri, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Noureddine Akid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Belkahia having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Blackburn's zone, Mohamed Jaziri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Belkahia came out of the goal and Mohamed Jaziri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rashid Meriah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, one of Newton on Ouse:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Blackburn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blackburn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
