Wanborough's Ali Ghodbane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Wanborough from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Wanborough booed when Norby City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belgacem Essafi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Wanborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Ammar to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Hamdi Sassi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Ghodbane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ajmi Achour to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Ammar got free with Rashid Cherif in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karim Ameur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ajmi Achour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rashid Cherif having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Tahar Sallemi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wanborough and the Norby City players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was a penalty for Norby City! The Wanborough players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
