David Ben Yahia made a great header on Cockermouth AFC's corner, it was just that Copford City's Borhene Slimane managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rashid Slimane in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borhene Slimane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emir Soliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fadhel Makni, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hamdi Abdelmajid was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ahmed Dahmani hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Khaled David had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emir Soliman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdi Abdelmajid having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Emir Soliman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hamdi Abdelmajid, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Achraf Gammoudi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copford City's supporters rose to their feet, but Achraf Gammoudi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamdi Abdelmajid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Rashid Slimane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rashid Slimane was the one to do the kick off. When Sadok Nefzi fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copford City's protests and gave Sadok Nefzi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cockermouth AFC booed when Copford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sadok Nefzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Wissem Sellami in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Borhene Slimane's left hand side. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Khaled David got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Copford City's zone, Rashid Slimane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borhene Slimane came out of the goal and Rashid Slimane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 played minutes Copford City got a freekick which was hit by Ibrahim Boumnijel. Copford City's Borhene Slimane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashid Slimane in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Khaled David managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cockermouth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khaled David was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rashid Slimane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Copford City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cockermouth AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
