If Borhene Jaouachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamad Sioud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Prescot City's zone, Mohamad Sioud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Saidi came out of the goal and Mohamad Sioud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. New Romney City's Ahmad Kasraoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoubeir Sallemi in the 26th minute of play. Prescot City's Patrick Saidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borhene Jaouachi in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, New Romney City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hatem Essafi to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, New Romney City's Mohamad Sioud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Saidi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mohamad Sioud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. New Romney City's Mohamad Sioud got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Prescot City got a freekick which was hit by Abdelkarim Ayari. In the 44th minute of the match Zoubair Mzali sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Saidi skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ahmad Kasraoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoubeir Sallemi in the 52nd minute of the match. Mohamed Ayari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ahmad Kasraoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmad Kasraoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoubeir Sallemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Prescot City's goalkeeper Patrick Saidi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamad Sioud. Zoubeir Sallemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Yassine Benzekri fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Romney City's protests and gave Yassine Benzekri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Prescot City booed when New Romney City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yassine Benzekri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmad Kasraoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Ghodhbane, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Karim Ghodhbane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prescot City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Ghodhbane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Saidi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Ameur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohieddine Trabelsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoubeir Sallemi in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmad Kasraoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The New Romney City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
