If Hocine Adhoum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Mouaia Sellimi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Nafti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, one of Backwell:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Backwell. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hocine Adhoum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Haykel Chimane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed El Hadj Kacem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haykel Chimane in the 58th minute of play forced North Kilworth United's goalkeeper Ahmed El Hadj Kacem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. North Kilworth United's Riadh Khcharem got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Backwell's Mohamed Mouaia Sellimi got control of the ball when Habib Nafti tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Haykel Chimane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in North Kilworth United's zone, Hocine Adhoum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed El Hadj Kacem came out of the goal and Hocine Adhoum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hocine Adhoum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of North Kilworth United booed when Backwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hocine Adhoum didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Backwell's goalkeeper Mohamed Mouaia Sellimi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Habib Nafti. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. North Kilworth United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
