Newbiggin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Houcine Ghariani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hedi BenAmor didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Newbiggin's Houcine Ghariani shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When Houcine Ghariani came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Newbiggin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Houcine Ghariani couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Houcine Ghariani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Newbiggin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caid Cherif to maneuver through the defense. Bahi Bourguiba made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Muhammad Benachour sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Said Ben Kalaï hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chaker Dermech in the 35th minute of play forced Welling United's goalkeeper Hedi BenAmor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hedi BenAmor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houcine Ghariani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Habib Jemâa to make the kick off. Bahi Bourguiba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Benachour, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Bahi Bourguiba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhammad Benachour's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 64 in the game by Houcine Ghariani from a close distance when the talented Hedi BenAmor managed to make a qualified save. Welling United's players were relieved. Chaker Dermech's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hedi BenAmor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The corner led Newbiggin's Tarak Aouichaoui to fire away a dangerous shot which Hedi BenAmor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Chaker Dermech succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Newbiggin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
