Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamda Mechergui started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamda Mechergui in the 3rd minute of play forced Whitwell's goalkeeper Zied Escheikh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emir Sfar hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Whitwell's Sahbi Ghariani got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Whitwell's Sahbi Ghariani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noureddine Ghannem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zied Escheikh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emir Sfar in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Hamda Mechergui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perivale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamda Mechergui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zied Escheikh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamda Mechergui in the 14th minute of play. Taieb Benachour kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Hamda Mechergui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Whitwell's Kameleddine Zouaoui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noureddine Ghannem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Perivale defense, Sahbi Ghariani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noureddine Ghannem. The Perivale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noureddine Ghannem should have stopped the shot. After having played for 32 minutes, Kameleddine Zouaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Perivale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noureddine Ghannem should have stopped the shot. Sahbi Ghariani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Noureddine Ghannem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamda Mechergui in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zied Escheikh saved Whitwell from getting behind. Zied Escheikh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamda Mechergui in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sahbi Ghariani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Perivale's Noureddine Ghannem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sahbi Ghariani in the 52nd minute of play. Kameleddine Zouaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Ghannem having to interfere. Ahmed Thabet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Zied Escheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Mehdi Jegham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perivale and the Whitwell players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zied Escheikh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamda Mechergui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 played minutes Whitwell got a freekick which was hit by Taieb Benachour. Hamda Mechergui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zied Escheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kameleddine Zouaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamda Mechergui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Whitwell's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
