In the 23rd minute, Adel Khcharem fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lotfi Sallemi, passed just outside the right post. Adel Khcharem might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lotfi Sallemi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adel Khcharem ran back to his position shaking his head. Ashbourne's Lassaad Ben Dhia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Haj Kacem in the 29th minute of play. Hamdi Nouira kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Haj Kacem in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lassaad Ben Dhia saved Ashbourne from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salah Yahia in the 34th minute of play forced Ashbourne's goalkeeper Lassaad Ben Dhia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Godalming AFC's Lotfi Sallemi got control of the ball when Ahmed Mnari tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adel Khcharem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Ferid Salem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Haj Kacem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Lassaad Ben Dhia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Salah Yahia came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Godalming AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salah Yahia couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Oussama Beya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Adel Khcharem put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lotfi Sallemi. Adel Khcharem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Godalming AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bahi Bhar. Ferid Salem hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Lassaad Ben Dhia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salah Yahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Godalming AFC's Jawhar Ouertani got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lassaad Ben Dhia. Ashbourne were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
