After a defensive mix-up in Waltham's zone, Said Ben Zaghouani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hatem Nouira came out of the goal and Said Ben Zaghouani tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 30thth minute of the game Tahar Mabrouk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romaldkirk United's Fakhreddine al-Husain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Youssef Nefzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waltham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romaldkirk United the free kick.
