Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Achraf Jegham made the kick off and thus started the match. Pierre Attouga took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laaroussi Saidi. Laaroussi Saidi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Chedli Jendoubi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ali Naouali made a huge save. Ali Naouali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achraf Jegham's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Moncef Salem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Laaroussi Saidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Houghton le Spring booed when Great Totham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehdi Sallemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Moncef Salem made a precise shot to the right of Laaroussi Saidi. Great Totham AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Houghton le Spring's Pierre Attouga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laaroussi Saidi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Pierre Attouga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Houghton le Spring's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Attouga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laaroussi Saidi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Mehdi Sallemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chedli Jendoubi in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ali Naouali, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 30 minutes into the match, Houghton le Spring's Moncef Salem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laaroussi Saidi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Great Totham AFC's Chedli Jendoubi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Naouali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Great Totham AFC's Laaroussi Saidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moncef Salem in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Achraf Jegham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Naouali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Chedli Jendoubi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ali Naouali was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Laaroussi Saidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moncef Salem in the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Moncef Salem notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Great Totham AFC's Laaroussi Saidi. Laaroussi Saidi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Houghton le Spring were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moncef Salem made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Mohamed Memmi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Houghton le Spring's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Great Totham AFC the free kick. After 54 played minutes Houghton le Spring got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Memmi. Achraf Jegham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Chedli Jendoubi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Houghton le Spring's goal looked a bit too open when Achraf Jegham came free, but Ali Naouali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Chedli Jendoubi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Houghton le Spring's Ali Naouali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moncef Salem in the 67th minute of play forced Great Totham AFC's goalkeeper Laaroussi Saidi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moncef Salem in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laaroussi Saidi saved Great Totham AFC from getting behind. Pierre Attouga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chedli Jendoubi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Naouali having to interfere. Achraf Jegham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Naouali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chedli Jendoubi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Achraf Jegham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Totham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achraf Jegham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Achraf Jegham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Naouali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achraf Jegham in the 87th minute of play. Chedli Jendoubi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ali Naouali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achraf Jegham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Houghton le Spring players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
