Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Houghton le Spring's Moncef Salem started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adel Ayari in the 3rd minute of play forced Houghton le Spring's goalkeeper Ali Naouali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Naouali came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Harrow's Adel Ayari. But to his dismay, Adel Ayari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ali Naouali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Essediri in the 7th minute of play. Harrow were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Houghton le Spring's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lassaad Ben Dhia took the corner. Férid Limam was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 11th minute Adel Ayari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Naouali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harrow's Adel Ayari got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Houghton le Spring's goal looked a bit too open when Adel Ayari came free, but Ali Naouali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohamed Ayed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moncef Salem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pierre Attouga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Moncef Salem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albert Essediri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Attouga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Essediri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Naouali having to interfere. Harrow's Albert Essediri got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adel Ayari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ali Naouali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Harrow were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Adel Ayari made the kick off in the second half. Moncef Salem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Ayed having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Houghton le Spring's zone, Adel Ayari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Naouali came out of the goal and Adel Ayari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Albert Essediri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Naouali was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Adel Ayari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Naouali having to interfere. Albert Essediri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Naouali having to interfere. Adel Chimane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ali Naouali. Houghton le Spring's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Harrow's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Attouga came free, but Mohamed Ayed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Houghton le Spring getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mohamed Memmi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Adel Ayari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harrow's supporters rose to their feet, but Adel Ayari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Naouali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Naouali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Essediri, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Albert Essediri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Harrow left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Houghton le Spring.
