Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mehdi El Hadj Kacem started the match with the kick off. Chedi Sguir might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anis Jaber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chedi Sguir ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5th minute, Mehdi El Hadj Kacem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hedi Amira Nafti. The goal made the score 1-0. Habib Achab's late challenge caught a Jarrow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Habib Achab helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Hurdcott got a freekick which was hit by Habib Achab. After a defensive mix-up in Hurdcott's zone, Abderrahim Melliti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anis Jaber came out of the goal and Abderrahim Melliti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chedi Sguir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Anis Jaber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chedi Sguir in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anis Jaber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hurdcott's Anis Jaber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrahim Melliti in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Hurdcott booed when Jarrow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haykel Bourguiba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jarrow fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Mohamed Souissi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mehdi El Hadj Kacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hedi Amira Nafti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Hurdcott was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim El Hadj Kacem to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi El Hadj Kacem in the 35th minute of play forced Jarrow's goalkeeper Hedi Amira Nafti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Habib Achab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurdcott's supporters rose to their feet, but Habib Achab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hedi Amira Nafti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehdi El Hadj Kacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hedi Amira Nafti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mehdi El Hadj Kacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abderrahim Melliti made a kick off. Adel Gmamdia's late challenge caught a Hurdcott's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Habib Achab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarrow's Hedi Amira Nafti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehdi El Hadj Kacem in the 66th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Abderrahim Melliti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarrow's Chedi Sguir got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Hurdcott was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Namouchi to maneuver through the defense. Anis Jaber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abderrahim Melliti's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Hedi Amira Nafti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Achab in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Adel Gmamdia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarrow's Hedi Amira Nafti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Achab in the 91st minute of play. When Haykel Bourguiba fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarrow's protests and gave Haykel Bourguiba a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jarrow getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Haykel Bourguiba hit a great ball. Habib Achab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrow's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
