Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mohamed Salah Ben Makni kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Hassen Clayton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thornbury FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hassen Clayton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atef al-Amin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atef al-Amin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Stambouli, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Mohamed Salah Ben Makni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thornbury FC's Abdallah Zidane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdallah Zidane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Majdi Mor in the 21st minute of play. Bahi Karoui charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahi Karoui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Halesowen FC booed when Thornbury FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahi Karoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdallah Zidane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Salah Ben Makni in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes in the game, Hassen Clayton dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Muhammad Mabrouk hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Atef al-Amin made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hassen Clayton sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Halesowen FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Majdi Mor hit a great ball. Mohamed Stambouli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atef al-Amin having to interfere. If Mohamed Stambouli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Stambouli made a kick off. If Hassen Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Abdallah Zidane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Salah Ben Makni in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Thornbury FC's goalkeeper Abdallah Zidane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Majdi Mor . In the last second Abdallah Zidane throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mohamed Salah Ben Makni in the 73rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 79th minute, Mohamed Salah Ben Makni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Halesowen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Stambouli came free, but Atef al-Amin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Mohamed Stambouli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atef al-Amin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 90 minutes into the game, Hassen Clayton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Atef al-Amin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 95 minutes, Mohamed Stambouli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thornbury FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Stambouli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
