In the 6th minute, Great Totham United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fatah Jaïdi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Adel Litaiem fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Great Totham United's protests and gave Adel Litaiem a yellow card for diving instead. Adel Litaiem kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ali Dhafer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adel Litaiem in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Hassen Hammami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ziad Mrabet shot from long distance in the 26th minute, but Ahmed Salem was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The supporters of Great Totham United booed when Barnstaple was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziad Mrabet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Great Totham United's Karim Chatti couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barnstaple. Emir Yahia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Dhafer having to make a save. Ali Dhafer came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Great Totham United's Adel Litaiem. But to his dismay, Adel Litaiem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ali Dhafer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adel Litaiem in the 37th minute of the match. Emir Yahia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Dhafer having to make a save. Haykel Rokki kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Great Totham United getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mehdi Ben Nafti hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Barnstaple were awarded a corner. Ziad Mrabet went to the cornerflag to take it. Barnstaple's Ziad Mrabet was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmed Salem in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adel Litaiem made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Barnstaple got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Ayari. Fatah Jaïdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Salem having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Fatah Jaïdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmed Salem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Barnstaple booed when Great Totham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed BenAmor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adel Saada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Barnstaple's Mehdi Mahouachi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmed Salem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ahmed Salem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fatah Jaïdi in the 81st minute of play. When Barnstaple's Fatah Jaïdi in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Great Totham United's goalie prevented a goal. Ahmed Salem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adel Saada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mohamed BenAmor fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Great Totham United's protests and gave Mohamed BenAmor a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Great Totham United got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed BenAmor. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
