In the 27th minute, Albert Bouzayène reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Dhafer. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Issam Namouchi got free with Ali Dhafer in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fatah Jaïdi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Mokhtar Ben Saada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnstaple. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adel Saada in the 74th minute of play forced Leighton Buzzard United's goalkeeper Mokhtar Ben Saada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Issam Namouchi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barnstaple's Ali Dhafer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee gave Leighton Buzzard United a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Belgacem Nafti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barnstaple's Ali Dhafer. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Leighton Buzzard United had won after a very even match.
