Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zine Gabsi kicked off to start the match. Hatem Attouga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Khaled Essafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Zine Gabsi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barmby on the Marsh's supporters rose to their feet, but Zine Gabsi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khaled Essafi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, Zine Gabsi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khaled Essafi. Margate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zine Gabsi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Barmby on the Marsh getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zine Gabsi hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Alaeddine Tlili got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 23 minutes into the game, Moustapha Yahia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barmby on the Marsh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Margate the free kick. The supporters of Margate booed when Barmby on the Marsh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moustapha Yahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alaeddine Tlili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Khaled Essafi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zine Gabsi in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Hatem Attouga notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Margate's Khaled Essafi. Khaled Essafi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Barmby on the Marsh's goalkeeper Helmi Selliti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alaeddine Tlili. The supporters of Barmby on the Marsh booed when Margate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferid Namouchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khaled Essafi came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Barmby on the Marsh's Hatem Attouga. But to his dismay, Hatem Attouga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Margate getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Habib Habib Benfrej hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Margate's Khaled Essafi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Margate from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alaeddine Tlili in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmi Selliti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 minutes of play, Margate's Alaeddine Tlili made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmi Selliti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barmby on the Marsh's Helmi Selliti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alaeddine Tlili in the 65th minute of play. Helmi Selliti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferid Namouchi in the 69th minute of the match. Helmi Selliti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferid Namouchi in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barmby on the Marsh's zone, Ferid Namouchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmi Selliti came out of the goal and Ferid Namouchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barmby on the Marsh's Hatem Attouga got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hatem Attouga during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barmby on the Marsh's Hatem Attouga got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Margate's Khaled Essafi got control of the ball when Hatem Attouga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Margate supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barmby on the Marsh's performance. The match ended with a win for Barmby on the Marsh.
