Stoke-on-Trent FC's Habib Ali Bargawi got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Hichem Limam successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 26 minutes into the game, Abdallah Mkacher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoke-on-Trent FC the free kick. After 26 played minutes Malton got a freekick which was hit by Abdallah Mkacher. After 27 played minutes, Stoke-on-Trent FC's Blaise Idir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hichem Limam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stoke-on-Trent FC reached it. When Habib Ali Bargawi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Stoke-on-Trent FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Habib Ali Bargawi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 32 minutes, Habib Ali Bargawi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoke-on-Trent FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habib Ali Bargawi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Habib Ali Bargawi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hichem Limam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Habib Sellimi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Habib Ali Bargawi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Habib Sellimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haythem Kalaï saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Slim Ben Melliti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Slim Ben Melliti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhammad Belgacem got free with Haythem Kalaï in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Malton's goal looked a bit too open when Slim Ben Melliti came free, but Hichem Limam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes Malton got a freekick which was hit by Habib Sellimi . 77 minutes into the game, Muhammad Belgacem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoke-on-Trent FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Malton's Muhammad Belgacem got a free kick in the 77th minute. Haythem Kalaï showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Sellimi in the 82nd minute of the match. If Slim Ben Melliti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Slim Ben Melliti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hichem Limam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hichem Limam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slim Ben Melliti went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
