Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Riadh Gmamdia got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Riadh Gmamdia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hichem Limam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 7 in the game by Muhammad Belgacem from a close distance when the talented Mustafa Mnari managed to make a qualified save. Sunderland's players were relieved. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hichem Limam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Malton's Muhammad Belgacem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Mnari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdallah Mkacher's late challenge caught a Sunderland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdallah Mkacher helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Malton got a freekick which was hit by Abdallah Mkacher. 45 minutes into the game, Sunderland's Riadh Gmamdia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hichem Limam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Malton's zone, Rachid Meriah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hichem Limam came out of the goal and Rachid Meriah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Riadh Gmamdia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hichem Limam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Sunderland's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammad Belgacem came free, but Mustafa Mnari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sunderland defense, Abdallah Mkacher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Mnari. The Sunderland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Mnari should have stopped the shot. Sunderland's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
