In the 18th minute, Ben Naoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the game, Muhammad Belgacem landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 22 minutes into the game, Jemeleddine Sayah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redcar United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malton the free kick. The supporters of Malton booed when Redcar United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jemeleddine Sayah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Redcar United's Mohammed Naybet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Sellimi in the 25th minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Malton's Albert Mzali was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mohammed Naybet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hichem Limam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamadi Jendoubi went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Bernard Saidi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hichem Limam was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Habib Sellimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Naybet having to interfere. If Abdallah Mkacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
