The referee showed Hedi Amira Sanchou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Salford United got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Amira Sanchou. Hedi Amira Sanchou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hedi Amira Sanchou might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Ali Agrebi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hedi Amira Sanchou ran back to his position shaking his head. Staveley United's Mohamed Ali Agrebi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hedi Amira Sanchou in the 14th minute of play. When Haythem El Ouaer came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Staveley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haythem El Ouaer couldn't finish the play. Mondher Benachour kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Staveley United's Mohamed Ali Agrebi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Staveley United from getting a goal against them. If Haythem El Ouaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hedi Amira Sanchou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Haythem El Ouaer came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Staveley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haythem El Ouaer couldn't finish the play. Abderrahman Nouira kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Haythem El Ouaer struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Zine Hermassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Staveley United. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hedi Amira Sanchou made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Haythem El Ouaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akram Souissi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Ali Agrebi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salford United's zone, Haythem El Ouaer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zine Hermassi came out of the goal and Haythem El Ouaer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Hedi Amira Sanchou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hedi Amira Sanchou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Ali Agrebi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haythem El Ouaer hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Hedi Amira Sanchou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mohamed Ali Agrebi was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Haythem El Ouaers short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Zine Hermassi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hedi Amira Sanchou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mohamed Ali Agrebi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 83rd minute when Hedi Amira Sanchou elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Haythem El Ouaer managed to get in a good position for a shot. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Salford United were victorious despite being under pressure from Staveley United for much of the match.
