In the 18th minute Abdelwahab Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Jaber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riadh Nefzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Med Ali Beya in the 20th minute. Riadh Nefzi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. With his leg Riadh Nefzi managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when South Woodham Ferrers's Med Ali Beya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hamdi Gtari struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Riadh Nefzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Woodham Ferrers. Jemeleddine Ben Salah, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 40 played minutes South Woodham Ferrers got a freekick which was hit by Chedly Sassi. The attack was good, but when Abdelwahab Yahia in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelwahab Yahia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Hamza Limam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Woodham Ferrers the free kick. Hamza Limam hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Hamza Limam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Mohamed Jaber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. South Woodham Ferrers's Hamdi Gtari got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamdi Gtari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Hamdi Gtari made a precise shot to the right of Riadh Nefzi. Egham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 69 minutes into the match, Abdelwahab Yahia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mohamed Jaber, 3-2. Hamdi Gtari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Jaber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamza Limam in the 79th minute. Riadh Nefzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdi Gtari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
