Karim Sfar hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Colne AFC's Aymen El Bez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Colne AFC from getting a goal against them. Ali Saidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymen El Bez having to interfere. Mohamed Salah Ben Ouertani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Huyton's Mohammed Belkhodja tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aymen El Bez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Salah Ben Ouertani in the 16th minute. Colne AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Ali Saidi scored to the left of an out of position Aymen El Bez, making the score, 1-0. Slaheddine Ben Ammar scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohamed Haj Kacem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aymen El Bez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Saidi's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 44th match minute, Colne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Neifar to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Salah Ben Ouertani got free with Aymen El Bez in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ibrahim Essafi made a kick off. With his leg Mohamed Haj Kacem managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Colne AFC's Slaheddine Ben Ammar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Slaheddine Ben Ammar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Saidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aymen El Bez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slaheddine Ben Ammar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mohamed Haj Kacem made a huge save. Slaheddine Ben Ammars short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Mohamed Haj Kacem to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd minute, Mohamed Salah Ben Ouertani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Colne AFC's Ali Achab got a free kick in the 74th minute. Aymen El Bez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Salah Ben Ouertani in the 75th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Mohamed Salah Ben Ouertani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Colne AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Salah Ben Ouertani came free, but Aymen El Bez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, David Neifar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
