In the 2nd minute Férid Selliti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Ben Braham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If José Melliti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Ragued made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Melliti in the 6th minute of play. Mustafa Ben Braham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Férid Selliti, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th match minute, Bucknell United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamdi Ben Amor to maneuver through the defense. When Hedi Mrabet fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bucknell United's protests and gave Hedi Mrabet a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bucknell United's Hedi Mrabet got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ghazi Ben Arfa, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Férid Selliti in the 24th minute of play forced Dawlish's goalkeeper Mustafa Ben Braham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Ahmed Khcharem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Ben Braham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Dali Baccouche notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bucknell United's Mohamed Ragued. Mohamed Ragued was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmed Khcharem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dawlish's Dali Baccouche got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 minutes of play, Dawlish's José Melliti made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohamed Ragued was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wissem Badra hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Ahmed Khcharem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bucknell United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Khcharem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Khcharem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Ben Braham was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 69 played minutes Dawlish got a freekick which was hit by Hedi M'Hedhbi. In the 72nd minute, Hedi M'Hedhbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelkarim Ayari was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hedi M'Hedhbi's late challenge caught a Bucknell United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hedi M'Hedhbi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Dawlish was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hedi M'Hedhbi to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Ragued took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dali Baccouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dawlish's José Melliti got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bucknell United's Mohamed Ragued played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dali Baccouche in the 83rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Férid Selliti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bucknell United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 96 minutes of play Bucknell United's Hedi Mrabet was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 97 played minutes Bucknell United got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Mrabet. Mohamed Ragued didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dali Baccouche went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Dawlish's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
