Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Haslingfield's Fathi Salem started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fethi Nefzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5thth minute of the game Khaled Hammami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haslingfield's Abdallah Farhat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Slaheddine Cherif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Abdallah Farhat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Haslingfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haykel Abdallah to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Haslingfield's goal looked a bit too open when Slaheddine Cherif came free, but Abdallah Farhat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slaheddine Cherif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes, Slaheddine Cherif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Staines and the Haslingfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Slaheddine Cherif hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Staines's Slaheddine Cherif got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Khaled Hammami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staines's supporters rose to their feet, but Khaled Hammami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdallah Farhat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Staines's Ali Saïdi got a free kick in the 51st minute. Zoubeir Sellami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youssef Ben Karray having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Staines got a freekick which was hit by Ali Saïdi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoubeir Sellami in the 55th minute of play forced Staines's goalkeeper Youssef Ben Karray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Saïdi hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Fathi Salem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Youssef Ben Karray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Zoubeir Sellami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haslingfield's Med Jennet suffered a sore thigh after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 65 played minutes Staines got a freekick which was hit by Ali Saïdi. Abdallah Farhat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaled Hammami in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Haslingfield got a freekick which was hit by Haykel Abdallah. In the 80th minute Khaled Hammami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdallah Farhat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdallah Farhat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khaled Hammami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Khaled Hammami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khaled Hammami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Haslingfield's Abdallah Farhat got control of the ball when Khaled Hammami tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Slaheddine Cherif came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Staines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slaheddine Cherif couldn't finish the play. Haslingfield succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Staines had controlled the match.
