Appleshaw FC's Anis Haggui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Mrabet in the 16th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Tamworth United got a freekick which was hit by Karim Chérif. 31 minutes into the match, Bechir Trabelsi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehdi Saidi. Tamworth United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bechir Trabelsi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nizar Belkhodja kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Karim Chérif managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamworth United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Chérif was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Appleshaw FC's Nizar Belkhodja got a free kick in the 38th minute. Anis Haggui made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Karim Chérif sent off a good shot on target. Bechir Trabelsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Appleshaw FC's Bechir Trabelsi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehdi Saidi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Appleshaw FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ben Mrabet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oussama Mosrati during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Appleshaw FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tamworth United a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Haykel Boumnijel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Appleshaw FC's Anis Haggui. 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, Tamworth United's goalkeeper Mehdi Saidi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmed Baccouche. Nizar Belkhodja hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Ben Mrabet came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tamworth United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Mrabet couldn't finish the play. Anis Haggui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Mrabet, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Tamworth United's Karim Chérif nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anis Haggui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Said Ghodhbane hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ahmed Baccouche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Mehdi Saidi made a huge save. Bechir Trabelsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Saidi having to interfere. Mehdi Saidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bechir Trabelsi in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tamworth United's zone, Ahmed Baccouche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehdi Saidi came out of the goal and Ahmed Baccouche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Appleshaw FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tamworth United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
