Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anis Laabidi took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Ali Nafti fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romford's protests and gave Ali Nafti a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Romford got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nafti. In the 11th minute Anis Laabidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zine Abdelmajid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Mohamed Diwa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shrewsbury City's Ben Saidi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohamed Diwa in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Saidi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohamed Belkahia hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Romford's Mohamed Diwa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ben Saidi. Ben Saidi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Shrewsbury City's goalkeeper Ben Saidi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohsen Ghannouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Saidi having to interfere. Romford's Mohsen Ghannouchi got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Anis Laabidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Khaled Mosrati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shrewsbury City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khaled Mosrati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben Saidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Diwa in the 61st minute of play. Kameleddine Ayari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Belkahia during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Mohamed Belkahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zine Abdelmajid was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Habib Mechemeche. In the 75th minute, Ahmad Nefzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shrewsbury City's Ben Saidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Diwa in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Shrewsbury City's zone, Mohamed Diwa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ben Saidi came out of the goal and Mohamed Diwa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Slim Jemmali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Diwa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ben Saidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Mohamed Diwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Saidi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romford's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
