In the 31st match minute, Holton-le-Clay United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jawhar Chedli to maneuver through the defense. Mehdi Rostom might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dhaker Zouaoui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Woodchurch United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Majed Ben Ziadi should have stopped the shot. Oussama Bejaoui's late challenge caught a Holton-le-Clay United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Mehdi Rostom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Woodchurch United's Hocine Dhiab slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dhaker Zouaoui. That made the score 1-1 after 79 minutes of play. In the 86th minute, Haythem Chaldun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Zoubeir Sellami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Majed Ben Ziadi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Holton-le-Clay United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Woodchurch United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
