Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hassen Essafi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carterton's Hedhili Nouira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Netherton AFC. Hassen Essafi took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohamed Fergani. Mohamed Fergani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 played minutes, Netherton AFC's Jamel Bourguiba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mohamed Fergani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherton AFC reached it. Bernard Karoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mohamed Fergani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Fergani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassen Essafi in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Carterton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamed Kadri to maneuver through the defense. Fraj Trabelsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hedi Gammoudi in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Bernard Karoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Karoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hedi Gammoudi was the one to do the kick off. A long shot from Adel Bey in the 51st minute of play was well struck, but Mohamed Fergani made a really good save at the right post. Carterton's Hedi Gammoudi got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohamed Fergani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Karoui in the 63rd minute. Hassen Essafi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fraj Trabelsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hedi Gammoudi in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wissem Habib Benfrej during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Netherton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wissem Habib Benfrej. After 72 played minutes, Carterton's Hedhili Nouira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fraj Trabelsi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carterton reached it. Carterton's Aymen Braham got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hedi Gammoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fraj Trabelsi having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherton AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
