Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mohamed Azaïez started the match with the kick off. Hatem Sayah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hatem Sayah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Gasmi having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Liversedge's Ali Ben Yahia made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adel Karray was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Hatem Sayah came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Wootton Bassett United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hatem Sayah couldn't finish the play. Wootton Bassett United's Adel Karray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Azaïez in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Wootton Bassett United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hadj Salem Jawachi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ali Ben Yahia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liversedge's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Ben Yahia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adel Karray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hedi M'Hedhbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Wootton Bassett United's Hatem Sayah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adel Gasmi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adel Gasmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hatem Sayah in the 42nd minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hatem Sayah to make the kick off. When Haykel Khelil fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liversedge's protests and gave Haykel Khelil a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Liversedge getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Haykel Khelil hit a great ball. Ali Ben Yahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adel Karray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adel Karray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Azaïez in the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, Liversedge's Adel Gasmi got control of the ball when Hedi M'Hedhbi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hedi M'Hedhbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hedi M'Hedhbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Gasmi having to interfere. The supporters of Wootton Bassett United booed when Liversedge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoubeir Jelassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes Wootton Bassett United got a freekick which was hit by Hadj Salem Jawachi. Hedi M'Hedhbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Gasmi having to interfere. With a little luck, Liversedge's Adel Gasmi got control of the ball when Hatem Sayah tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Mohamed Badra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Liversedge's Adel Gasmi did a great save. Ahmed Souissi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Adel Karray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liversedge. In the 89th minute Mohamed Azaïez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adel Karray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Azaïez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Karray having to interfere. Hedi M'Hedhbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Adel Gasmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liversedge's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
