Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Muhammad Ragued showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Jaziri in the 4th minute of the match. Fatah Baccouche was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Mehdi Yahyaoui capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mehdi Yahyaoui really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Karim Hakimi 's late challenge caught a Ashington City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Hakimi helped the player get up and apologised. Karim Hakimi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehdi Yahyaoui in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fatah Baccouche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Mehdi Yahyaoui got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Habib Jaziri came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Finglesham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Habib Jaziri couldn't finish the play. Abdelwahab Limam struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Fatah Baccouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ashington City. Finglesham FC's Fatah Baccouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehdi Yahyaoui in the 45th minute of play. Muhammad Ragued made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radhi Salah in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute Radhi Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Ragued saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Habib Jaziri to make the kick off. Ashington City's Muhammad Ragued proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ashington City from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Radhi Salah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehdi Yahyaoui in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fatah Baccouche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Mehdi Yahyaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fatah Baccouche was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. David Amor hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Radhi Salah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fatah Baccouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelwahab Limam in the 75th minute of the match. When Adel Azaïez fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finglesham FC's protests and gave Adel Azaïez a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Finglesham FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Habib Jaziri got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 86 minutes into the game, Habib Jaziri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finglesham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ashington City the free kick. Habib Jaziri kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Habib Jaziri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Ragued saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Habib Jaziri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 minutes, Mohamed Zidane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashington City and the Finglesham FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Finglesham FC's Karim Hakimi got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ashington City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Finglesham FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
