Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Noureddine Jaidi got the match started through his kick off. Mehdi Ben Tlatli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lassaad Souissi having to interfere. Hassen Agrebi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Hassen Agrebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Issam Achour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noureddine Jaidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lassaad Souissi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Thornbury FC's goalkeeper Lassaad Souissi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Ben Tlatli. Issam Achour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassen Agrebi in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Thornbury FC's goalkeeper Lassaad Souissi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Ben Tlatli. Mehdi Ben Tlatli hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Fatah Tlili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issam Achour having to interfere. Ashwell FC's Issam Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassen Agrebi in the 29th minute of play. Hassen Agrebi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issam Achour having to interfere. Thornbury FC's Fatah Tlili got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Thornbury FC's Lassaad Souissi got control of the ball when Mehdi Ben Tlatli tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Noureddine Jaidi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lassaad Souissi to make any attempt to save it. After 44 played minutes Ashwell FC got a freekick which was hit by Alaeddine Belhouane. Noureddine Jaidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lassaad Souissi having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hassen Agrebi to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Thornbury FC's Hassen Agrebi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Issam Achour narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Ashwell FC's goalkeeper Issam Achour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fatah Tlili. Hassen Agrebi might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Issam Achour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hassen Agrebi ran back to his position shaking his head. Noureddine Jaidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Lassaad Souissi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehdi Ben Tlatli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ashwell FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alaeddine Belhouane hit a great ball. Fatah Tlili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Issam Achour made a huge save. In the 84th minute Noureddine Jaidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lassaad Souissi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaeddine Belhouane hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ashwell FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Thornbury FC for a fine match.
