Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hedi Koissy got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Chems Souayati notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Liss's Mohamed al-Munsif Bey. Mohamed al-Munsif Bey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Noureddine Saada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes, Sabri Bargawi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wellington City and the Liss players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wellington City's Sabri Bargawi got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Sabri Bargawi off the ground. The supporters of Liss booed when Wellington City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabri Bargawi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hedi Koissy in the 19th minute of play forced Wellington City's goalkeeper Haykel Bouzayène to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hedi Koissy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haykel Bouzayène having to make a save. Haykel Bouzayène took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hedi Koissy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jawhar Beya hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Liss. Moustapha Mzali stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Haykel Bouzayène. 2-1. Hedi Koissy struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Haykel Bouzayène didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liss. 34 minutes into the match, Anis Jennet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mohamed al-Munsif Bey. Liss's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anis Jennet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Haykel Bouzayène made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Noureddine Saada sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Wellington City's goal looked a bit too open when Hedi Koissy came free, but Haykel Bouzayène reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anis Jennet to make the kick off. Noureddine Saada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hedi Koissy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chems Souayati 's late challenge caught a Liss's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chems Souayati helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wellington City's Chems Souayati got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Wellington City's goal looked a bit too open when Hedi Koissy came free, but Haykel Bouzayène reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Hedi Koissy made a precise shot to the right of Haykel Bouzayène. Wellington City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 67th minute, Noureddine Saada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haykel Bouzayène was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Noureddine Saada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liss's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Saada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haykel Bouzayène breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haykel Bouzayène showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hedi Koissy in the 86th minute of the match. Wellington City's Haykel Bouzayène played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hedi Koissy in the 91st minute of play. If Noureddine Saada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liss were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wellington City for a fine match.
