An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofiene Nafti in the 3rd minute of play forced Stanford le Hope's goalkeeper Jose Gasmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blaise Akimi took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fathi Ben Fadhel. Fathi Ben Fadhel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahar Kalaï in the 9th minute of play forced Cricklewood United's goalkeeper Fathi Ben Fadhel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Stanford le Hope booed when Cricklewood United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lotfi Haddad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Sofiene Nafti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Gasmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chokri Nefzi in the 18th minute of play forced Cricklewood United's goalkeeper Fathi Ben Fadhel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fathi Ben Fadhel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaise Akimi , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cricklewood United's Ali Ameur got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cricklewood United's Fathi Ben Fadhel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chokri Nefzi in the 22nd minute of play. If Chokri Nefzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaise Akimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fathi Ben Fadhel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Stanford le Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiene Nafti came free, but Jose Gasmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blaise Akimi scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fathi Ben Fadhel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Sofiene Nafti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Gasmi was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Stanford le Hope's Blaise Akimi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Tahar Ben Kasraoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blaise Akimi to strike the kick off in the second half. Jose Gasmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahar Ben Kasraoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Sofiene Nafti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cricklewood United's Rashid Ammar got a free kick in the 61st minute. Jose Gasmi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofiene Nafti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Stanford le Hope's zone, Sofiene Nafti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Gasmi came out of the goal and Sofiene Nafti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Blaise Akimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Cricklewood United's goalkeeper Fathi Ben Fadhel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chokri Nefzi. After having played for 80 minutes, Jamel Basli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanford le Hope's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamel Basli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chokri Nefzis short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Fathi Ben Fadhel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
