If Abdelkarim Ben Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohamed Zahaf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alaeddine Kaâbi. Wombwell FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute Adel Jaidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaeddine Kaâbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Wombwell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adel Jaidi came free, but Alaeddine Kaâbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Parbold United's Hamda Sioud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelkarim Ben Yahia in the 16th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Abdelkarim Ben Yahia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 25 minutes into the game, Parbold United's Adel Jaidi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alaeddine Kaâbi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 38th minute, Adel Jaidi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alaeddine Kaâbi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mohamed Nafti hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Zoubair Bourguiba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaeddine Kaâbi having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zoubair Bourguiba to make the kick off. Adel Jaidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaeddine Kaâbi having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Slaheddine Farhat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Parbold United's Moncef Ayari got a free kick in the 56th minute. Abdelkarim Ben Yahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adel Bourguiba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Boubaker Boukorâa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wombwell FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parbold United the free kick. In the 65th minute, Boubaker Boukorâa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Adel Jaidi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Wombwell FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Nafti. When Zoubair Bourguiba came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Parbold United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoubair Bourguiba couldn't finish the play. If Abdelkarim Ben Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Slaheddine Farhat fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wombwell FC's protests and gave Slaheddine Farhat a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Wombwell FC got a freekick which was hit by Slaheddine Farhat. In the 76th minute of the match Parbold United got a corner. Wombwell FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Muhammad Kasraoui ran over to the corner to take the kick. Parbold United's Adel Jaidi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamda Sioud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdelkarim Ben Yahia went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Wombwell FC's Abdelkarim Ben Yahia got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelkarim Ben Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamda Sioud having to interfere. Parbold United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
