The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zoubair Sboui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Boumnijel having to interfere. Moncef Salem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Abdallah Ladgham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sadok Jemmali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Moncef Salem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaise Boumnijel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fathi Bargawi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Sadok Jemmali made a huge save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Warrington's goalkeeper Sadok Jemmali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sadok Jemmali made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Fathi Bargawi sent off a good shot on target. Sadok Jemmali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdallah Ladgham in the 39th minute of play. If Zoubair Sboui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Moncef Salem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Moncef Salem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blaise Boumnijel. South Woodham Ferrers AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moncef Salem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdallah Ladgham to make the kick off. Zoubair Sboui in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Blaise Boumnijel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fathi Bargawi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Abdallah Ladgham made a precise shot to the right of Sadok Jemmali. Warrington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 78th minute Fathi Bargawi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sadok Jemmali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abdallah Ladgham came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the South Woodham Ferrers AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdallah Ladgham couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute of the match Mohamed Zahaf sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blaise Boumnijel skillfully saved the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
