After 2 played minutes Pensby FC got a freekick which was hit by Zoubeir Jawachi. Wissem Mzali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lassaad Jawachi in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pensby FC's zone, Tarak Chedli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wissem Mzali came out of the goal and Tarak Chedli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bahi Ghannouchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wissem Mzali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarak Chedli in the 13th minute of the match. Lassaad Jawachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Wissem Mzali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarak Chedli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wissem Mzali having to interfere. After 19th play minutes Tarak Chedli shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Wissem Mzali and just under the crossbar into goal. 22 minutes into the match, Latchingdon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammad Ali Bourguiba came free, but Mohieddine El Hadrioui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wissem Mzali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lassaad Jawachi in the 24th minute of the match. Lassaad Jawachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, one of Latchingdon AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pensby FC's Muhammad Ali Bourguiba got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Tarak Chedli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Latchingdon AFC and the Pensby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Latchingdon AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tarak Chedli hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Mohieddine Jaziri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muhammad Ali Bourguiba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mohieddine El Hadrioui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bahi Ghannouchi's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to Latchingdon AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mohieddine Jaziri hit a great ball. Mohieddine El Hadrioui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Ali Bourguiba in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Latchingdon AFC booed when Pensby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francileudo Kasraoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tarak Chedli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Tarak Chedli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Latchingdon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarak Chedli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahi Ghannouchi in the 73rd minute of play forced Latchingdon AFC's goalkeeper Mohieddine El Hadrioui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Latchingdon AFC's Lassaad Jawachi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wissem Mzali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 81 played minutes Pensby FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Bourguiba. With splendid footwork Tarak Chedli arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-3 by the left pole in the game's 85th minute. Tarak Chedli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wissem Mzali having to interfere. Latchingdon AFC played a much better game than Pensby FC and deserved their victory. The Pensby FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
