Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ahmed Ayari started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th match minute, Consett United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Mestiri to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 6 minutes, Zied Aziza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berwick Upon Tweed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zied Aziza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohamed Chedli's late challenge caught a Berwick Upon Tweed's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Chedli helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Berwick Upon Tweed's Hassen Jaballah tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hassib Ghannem charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hassib Ghannem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Consett United getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mehdi Mestiri hit a great ball. Hassen Jaballah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hassene Karoui. Consett United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Berwick Upon Tweed's Zied Aziza got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play, Berwick Upon Tweed's Zied Aziza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hassene Karoui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zied Aziza struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Hassene Karoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berwick Upon Tweed. Zied Aziza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Mehdi Mestiri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zied Aziza was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Consett United's Hassib Ghannem got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Hassene Karoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zied Aziza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zied Aziza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassene Karoui having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Consett United's goal looked a bit too open when Zied Aziza came free, but Hassene Karoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Consett United booed when Berwick Upon Tweed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fakhreddine Tlatli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Chedli, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Ahmed Ayari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kamel Fitouri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karim Morjane having to make a save. Hassene Karoui was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zied Aziza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. Chems Kerrit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Berwick Upon Tweed's Zied Aziza in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Consett United's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Chems Kerrit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berwick Upon Tweed's supporters rose to their feet, but Chems Kerrit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hassene Karoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmed Ayari scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karim Morjane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chems Kerrit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hassene Karoui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zied Aziza's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The Consett United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Berwick Upon Tweed's performance. The match ended with a win for Berwick Upon Tweed.
