Fahed El Bez struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Hassene Karoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Keyworth City. The supporters of Consett United booed when Keyworth City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoubeir Moatamri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Chedli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ali Saidi. Keyworth City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmed Ayari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ali Saidi came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmed Ayari slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Mehdi Mestiri kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Ahmed Ayari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Consett United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Ayari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moncef Yahia kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Aymen Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassene Karoui having to interfere. Kamel Fitouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Saidi having to interfere. If Ahmed Ayari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Kamel Fitouri took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ali Saidi to make any attempt to save it. Med Ali Clayton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassene Karoui having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Ayari to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Fahed El Bez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hassene Karoui was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fahed El Bez in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hassene Karoui saved Consett United from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Fahed El Bez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hassene Karoui, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Kamel Fitouri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Consett United's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamel Fitouri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Saidi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aymen Yahia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Hassene Karoui made a huge save. Aymen Yahia took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hassene Karoui. Hassene Karoui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Consett United's Ahmed Ayari got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Aymen Yahia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keyworth City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aymen Yahia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fahed El Bez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hassene Karoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aymen Yahia got free with Hassene Karoui in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Consett United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Keyworth City for a fine match.
