Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yassine Tonniche took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hatem Saidi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mokhtar Hicheri in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Majdi Sguir in the 12th minute of play forced St Annes on Sea AFC's goalkeeper Mohamed Sellami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mokhtar Jbara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in St Annes on Sea AFC's zone, Majdi Sguir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Sellami came out of the goal and Majdi Sguir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mokhtar Hicheri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 25 minutes, Mokhtar Hicheri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St Annes on Sea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mokhtar Hicheri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yassine Tonniche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hatem Saidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mokhtar Hicheri might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hatem Saidi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mokhtar Hicheri ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Ilfracombe's Hatem Saidi got control of the ball when Yassine Tonniche tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Mokhtar Jbara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Sellami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mokhtar Hicheri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Majdi Sguir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Majdi Sguir to make the kick off. A collision led to St Annes on Sea AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ahmed Benachour hit a great ball. Mokhtar Jbara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Sellami having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ilfracombe's Majdi Sguir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mohamed Sellami. That made the score 1-1 after 64 minutes of play. Majdi Sguir kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Majdi Sguir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Bargawi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yassine Tonniche in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hatem Saidi saved Ilfracombe from getting behind. Mohamed Sellami made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Mokhtar Jbara sent off a good shot on target. After 94 played minutes Ilfracombe got a freekick which was hit by Majdi Sguir. In the 95th minute Mokhtar Hicheri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatem Saidi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
