Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hatem Saidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Ali Riza in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to St.Bees getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sahbi Dhiab hit a great ball. Hatem Saidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sahbi Dhiab in the 17th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Ilfracombe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of St.Bees:s goal. Anis Tlili placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Sahbi Dhiab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hatem Saidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Mokhtar Jbara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moez Sfar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Ilfracombe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hatem Ben Mustapha to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd match minute, Ilfracombe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bechir Neifar to maneuver through the defense. If Mokhtar Jbara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Mokhtar Jbara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilfracombe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Ilfracombe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sahbi Dhiab made a kick off. Hatem Saidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sahbi Dhiab in the 56th minute of play. Sahbi Dhiab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatem Saidi having to interfere. Ali Ali Riza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Ali Riza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Ali Riza scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hatem Saidi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Ilfracombe defense, Sahbi Dhiab kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hatem Saidi. The Ilfracombe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hatem Saidi should have stopped the shot. Mokhtar Jbara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moez Sfar having to interfere. Majdi Sguir's late challenge caught a St.Bees's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Majdi Sguir helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ilfracombe's Majdi Sguir got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when St.Bees's Ali Ali Riza fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ilfracombe's Hatem Saidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sahbi Dhiab in the 91st minute of play. Ali Ali Riza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hatem Saidi having to make a save. St.Bees were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ilfracombe for a fine match.
